Membership Information
Full Membership
Full Membership of the Society will be open to psychiatrists with an interest in forensic psychiatric research. To be considered for full membership an individual must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have held a grant related to research in forensic psychiatry within the preceding three years which is in excess of £50,000.
- Three or more peer reviewed publications relating to topics in forensic psychiatry in the preceding 3 years.
- Hold a full university contract relating to a position in forensic psychiatry.
Associate Membership
Associate membership of the Society will be open to any psychiatrist with an interest in forensic psychiatric research but who do not meet the above criteria.
Membership Fees
Full membership – £25.00 annually
Associate membership – £15.00 annually

Forensic Psychiatry Research Society (FPRS) members are entitled to a 25% reduction.

Criminal Behaviour and Mental Health
Publishes original material on all aspects of the relationship between mental state and criminal behaviour.
Forensic Psychiatry Research Society (FPRS) members are entitled to an annual subscription at the discounted rate of £95 (over 25% off the usual subscription rate). Subscriptions include both print and electronic access.
Journal of Investigative Psychology and Offender Profiling
International journal of behavioural science contributions to criminal and civil investigations.
FPRS members are entitled to an annual subscription to JIP-OP at the discounted rate of £35 (over 10% off the usual subscription rate). Subscriptions include both print and electronic access.
